Use BASE_PACKAGE_ARCH to determine if we should be SPE, or not
which is what sane-toolchain.inc does. This saves us having to
update this file every time a new e500 machine is added.

For now, just ensures its inherited. In the future, we can merge / simplify
staging.bbclass with packaged-staging.bbclass as appropriate.

version 2.12 is pulled from svn now. no reason for that level
of bleeding edge.
|
|
Our config file got a bit outdated.
|
|
It seems that these hold back packages without a real reason.
|
|
note: should we set TARGET_OS to linux-gnueabi even if distro
supports machines other than ARM?
|
|
version 7.2 is not available in OE tree anymore.

|
base-image has virtual/libc in dependences and so needs it specified.
|
|
Obsolete glibc include caused SyntaxErrors in uclibc bb files.

fso-autorev.inc is usually included in local.conf,
by people or builders of the SHR distribution.
android-rpc is needed by htcdream for GPS to work.
Making it autorev in fso-autorev.inc is a good idea:
*it make it stay in sync with other parts of fso.
*it permit to follows the development android-rpc
which is part of fso

minimal.conf has nfs as distro feature but not ip4 or ipv6.
This makes that busybox does not generate networking applets

* This reverts commit 22e3772f799948bf4a7806e74d83948ee2b2e1f4.
* e-wm-config-default is still needed to show 1st time wizard (selecting
which config to use)
* sorry I should have tried after removing ~/.e (I thought I did)

packaging
* illume2 and illume1 shouldn't be compiled both anymore
http://trac.enlightenment.org/e/changeset/50884
keep only illume2 as it's preferred by upstream
* separate illume2 (illume-home) to new package e-wm-config-illume2 and
make it default
* remove illume-keyboard-default_svn.bb recipe and create illume
keyboard packages from e-wm build directly (otherwise installed twice)
* update KEYBOARD_DIR in illume-keyboards-shr
* don't include all locales in FILES_${PN}

* git grep shows that all distributions (in OE tree) moved to
preferred-xorg-versions-X11R7.5.inc already
* would be nice to encourage everybody to use most tested X11R7.5 or
no preferred-xorg-versions at all (we can keep latest versions working
and use D_P -1 for stuff which needs more testing first)
* replace preferred-xorg-versions.inc with link always adjusted to
latest relase (is there any problem with symlink in OE tree?)
* this would also make easier to remove really old versions when it's
hard to test some changes (like converting libx11 staging)
