2014-02-28autotools-brokensep: Mark recipes with broken separate build dir supportRichard Purdie1
This patch goes through the OE-Core recipes and marks those which use autotools but don't support a separate build directory (${S} != ${B}). A new class, autotools-brokensep is used for this purpose. This doesn't introduce any change in behaviour in its own right. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2014-01-02Replace one-line DESCRIPTION with SUMMARYPaul Eggleton1
A lot of our recipes had short one-line DESCRIPTION values and no SUMMARY value set. In this case it's much better to just set SUMMARY since DESCRIPTION is defaulted from SUMMARY anyway and then the SUMMARY is at least useful. I also took the opportunity to fix up a lot of the new SUMMARY values, making them concisely explain the function of the recipe / package where possible. 2013-12-05mx/lttng-*: Fix git branch referencesRichard Purdie1
Ensure the right branches are set in SRC_URI to match the revisions used. This resolves certain fetch failures. Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2013-10-26clutter: remove usage of FILESPATHPetter Mabäcker2
Usage of FILESPATH is discouraged, since it can make recipes harder to bbappend. Instead FILESEXTRAPATHS should be used to extend the path. However in clutter the default paths solves the problem if we put all patches in ${BP} directory instead. 2013-08-30remove the unnecessary protocol parametersJackie Huang1
It's not necessary to specify the protocol parameter when it's the default protocol for the fetcher, e.g. the default protocol for git fetcher it git, "protocol=git" isn't needed. 2013-05-21mx: Update to improved naming schemeTomas Frydrych5
The package has been renamed to mx-1.0, keeping up with the upstream versioning policy. The 1.14.7 tag does not build with clutter 1.14, so git revision 9b1db6b8060bd00b121a692f942404a24ae2960f from the 1.14 branch is used instead. Remove patch as introspection.m4 is now included with the upstream Signed-off-by: Saul Wold <sgw@linux.intel.com>
2012-03-14mx: add dependenciesPaul Eggleton1
* Add dependency on startup-notification, which is optional but without it mx applications will not send startup notifications. * Add dependencies on gdk-pixbuf and libxrandr which are usually taken care of, but are required and thus should be stated explicitly. Signed-off-by: Paul Eggleton <paul.eggleton@linux.intel.com>
2012-02-10mx: ensure gettext and dbus are presentJoshua Lock1
Upstream informs me that D-bus isn't really optional as it's required to make some of the API work such as the single instance MxApplication. Therefore ensure we're building with it enabled. Gettext macros are used in the configure.ac so inherit gettext to ensure the required dependencies are present. Signed-off-by: Joshua Lock <josh@linux.intel.com>
2012-02-10mx: update to 1.4.2Joshua Lock2
Patch in a copy of introspection.m4 so that we can continue to easily and cleanly disable introspection. Signed-off-by: Joshua Lock <josh@linux.intel.com>
