This fixes the linking errors seen on mips64 when linking

Back port two patches to fix the error of complex expressions before @l/@h.
Error sample:

Update required to pass "movi" related build errors when gcc-4.8 is
used.
libgcrypt, slang, mysql5 were failing like this:
